Mutsumi has been a Japanese teacher in the Southeast Valley (Phoenix Metro) for many years and the mother of a middle school son.
She is a fitness buff, competing in marathon and just received her brown belt in Karate.
She is from Nagoya-shi, Aichi, Japan and visits Japan with family and students often.
